QUALITY ENGINEER

START: ASAP

DURATION: 6-12 MONTHS+++

LOCATION: WEST COAST

Seeking a QUALITY ENGINEERING professional from a LIFE SCIENCES (pharma., biotech, medical device etc..) background who can coordinate and compile metrics, process map, and provide data analysis/visualization.

Demonstrate strong capabilities to drive small improvement projects is a plus (e.g., Green Belt certified).

Exposure to some Programming experience preferred but not required.

Green Belt LEAN Six Sigma will be close to a requirement. (Just to understand the methodology employed. Process improvement projects are driven along LEAN Six Sigma / DMAIC lines).

[Six Sigma background: basically, applying a quantitative approach to measuring processes as they are now, using that data to design a better process- and measuring the new state to verify and maintain the improvement].

YOU WILL BE INVOLVED IN:

• pulling data from various databases and building data-driven slides / presentations to communicate As-IS and To-Be states for processes

• creating process maps to facilitate problem solving exercises

• participating in analysis meetings, assisting with implementing process changes
