Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager will provide the financial expertise to enable the successful completion of the Corporate business goals and objectives.
For assigned properties:
Responsible for revenue (pms reports, journal entry, sales tax adj)
Complete expenses (AP approval)
Responsible for Transfers/Bank deposits
Responsible for Bank Reconciliations
Process Taxes (sales tax – including tax exempt, personal property, real estate, business license)
Responsible for Month End Packets (including F&B inventory)
Assist Director with Cash Management as needed
Process Credit Card charges/reconciliation for operational expenses
Responsible for Payroll (import and accrual)
Responsible for monthly Financial Statements
Responsible for Year End (1099s, loan balance info, capex, stale checks, clean AP reports, balance sheet adjusting entries, sales tax rec, accrual rec)
Complete Projects (legal requests, when a property bought/sold)
Research (adhoc for utilities, loan payments, various items on P&L)
Provide Information regarding analysis of financials as requested
Other and all duties, projects, and tasks as assigned by employee’s manager.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additionally, the requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skills and or ability required.
Bachelors degree – Accounting or Finance
5 years of relevant work experience
Proficient skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Strong communication skills
Organizational skills to multitask several projects
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management
