Requirements:
2+ years of experience with LTL operations
Strong knowledge of LTL shipping processes, carrier networks, rates, and freight classification
Experience with using transportation management systems and carrier portals
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and follow-up skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities
Ability to identify service issues and provide timely, effective solutions
Responsibilities:
Support daily LTL operations, including quoting, booking, scheduling, tracking, and coordinating shipments
Communicate with carriers and customers to provide shipment updates and resolve service issues
Assist internal brokers and operations teams with LTL pricing, carrier selection, and customized freight solutions
Monitor shipments from pickup through delivery to ensure service expectations are met
Review shipment details, freight classifications, dimensions, and documentation for accuracy
Help manage LTL billing and work with accounting to resolve disputes, discrepancies, and accessorial charges
Maintain accurate shipment records and updates within the transportation management system
Build and maintain strong relationships with LTL carriers, customers, and internal team members
