    Lux 18 Business Manager Position

    Lux 18 is a global distribution company that works with some of the most recognizable names in streetwear and fashion. Founded in 2018 in Brooklyn, New York, Lux has since expanded to the west coast and opened its Los Angeles office in 2021. The company prides itself on its creative approach to growing a brand’s presence through marketing, retail and distribution initiatives. Although you have likely never heard of Lux 18, you have certainly seen effects of their backend work in the marketplace.

    We are searching for a hard-working, detail oriented Business Manager with a strong interest in the business side of the fashion industry. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who is excited to handle multiple projects at once, while keeping their eye on the company’s overall goals and priorities. We are looking for a team player who can upkeep current processes while finding ways to increase efficiency and implement best practices.

    Responsibilities:

    HR duties such as processing payroll, managing employee time cards and time off requests. Maintaining company policies, supplies purchasing and employee event planning.

    Act as the main point of contact between CEO, internal team and external stakeholders

    Assist with and lead business development initiatives

    Assist with servicing CEO’s direct relationships and high level stakeholders

    Manage company calendar, goals and priorities. Communicate with internal teams on behalf of the CEO.

    Manage CEO’s calendar and task list - schedule meetings and travel

    Data entry, creation and presentation of reports, agreement creation, document revision

    Suggest and implement improvements to operational processes

    Extension to the CEO - A positive role model and leader in the company

    Qualifications:

    3+ years of equivalent work, business or entrepreneurial experience

    Strong familiarity with spreadsheets / Excel. Experience with Outlook and the rest of the Office package is a plus.

    Ability to work independently

    Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management

    Familiarity with business and financial principles

    Leadership ability

    Outstanding organizational skills

    Attention to detail & thoroughness

    Ability to multitask in high pressure environment

    Experience working in fast paced environment

    Strong professional and personal judgment

    Adaptability and ability to respond quickly and shift priorities accordingly
