    Job Description

    The Designer will work with both motion and static assets that will span various media platforms such as websites, social media, and print. They will be expected to create print and video collateral that support the Creative direction of the Givenchy and Kenzo brands. The Designer will uphold the aesthetic codes of the brand, while creating and adapting collateral that directly speaks to the North America market.

    • TEMPORARY ROLE thru on or about February 2023

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist with layout and local production of branded materials, including, but not limited to: marketing campaign artwork, influencer mailings/packaging, customer-facing events materials, and internal training collateral
    • Create artwork layouts using existing assets from HQ teams and repurpose to suit North American market, for both print and digital platforms
    • Receive video project files from HQ teams and recut/edit to align with North America market by resizing into various ratios, adding text overlay in multiple languages, and some animation in line with brand guidelines
    • Resize imagery for posting on social media platforms
    • Retouch assets through color correction and image conversion
    • Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Education, Media, and PR
    • Support VM Manager and Director of Creative on additional projects when needed
    • Conduct all other job-related activities

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 3+ YEARS of experience in a professional design capacity, ideally with luxury fashion or beauty
    • A willingness to research and troubleshoot when received files are more complex than expected. Must be proactive and a creative thinker/problem solver
    • Taste level in line with luxury branding and ability to uphold brand standards, while thinking creatively
    • Exceptional interpersonal, active listening, verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
    • Able to provide and receive feedback in a positive and constructive manner
    • Ability to work on multiple projects/tasks at once, prioritize accordingly, and meet project deadlines
    • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple internal teams, with the highest degree of professional integrity
    • Ability to work with outside vendors and coordinate project flow, including seeing projects through to delivery
    • Deals with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment.
    • Software proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro or After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, with a high-end, elevated aesthetic
    • Providing examples of work that demonstrate creative sensibilities and represent an artistic point of view

    Additional Information

    Salary Range - $70,000 - $85,000
