    Start date: 12/29/2025

    Pay: $35 to $40 depending on experience

    Exp:3 Yrs

    Cert : BLS, IV Certified, Phlebotomy Certified

    Position Summary

    The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the Outpatient Clinic provides high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Physician. The LVN supports daily clinic operations, performs clinical tasks, assists with patient flow, and ensures a safe and efficient patient experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    Clinical Duties

    Perform patient intake procedures including vital signs, medical history, and medication review.

    Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.

    Administer medications, injections, immunizations, and point-of-care testing per scope of practice.

    Prepare and maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies.

    Perform wound care, dressing changes, EKGs, and other clinic procedures as needed.

    Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report concerns to supervising RN/physician.

    Support chronic disease management and patient education.

    Patient Care & Coordination

    Maintain professional and compassionate communication with patients and families.

    Provide discharge instructions and follow-up care guidance.

    Coordinate referrals, diagnostic orders, and appointment scheduling.

    Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    • CA License
    • BLS (AHS or ARC)
    • 3 Years of overall LVN experience in a primary care or urgent care setting.

    Would also accept L&D exp as long as has outpatient clinic exp as well

    • Epic Experience

    Current and valid California LVN License

    BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (required).

    Minimum of 2 year of recent clinical experience preferred

    Excellent communication and organizational skills.

    Ability to work independently during any shifts with minimal supervision. Years of experience REQ: 1+ year of outpatient experience
