Will be responsible for completing nursing assessments, intake and admission assessments, and setting up patient medication records and orders. Maintains observation and appropriate nursing care to the entire milieu within the facility. Will work closely with case managers, therapists and physicians to ensure optimal delivery of care and treatment. Currently reports to Program Administrator.
Qualifications: One year experience working in a Behavioral Health setting Valid California LPT or LVN License Current CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to complete at Company’s expense Must be able to pass a TB Clearance, Occupational Health Screening and Drug/Alcohol Screen prior to employment Experience with addiction treatment and/or detoxification helpful Excellent communication skills, ability to pivot and team player required Must be available one weekend day

Responsibilities: Provide direct client care Administration of medications, med counts and reconciliation Coordination with physicians, accepting and following phone orders and medication adjustments Communication with pharmacy network locally for ordering, delivery and storage of client medications Perform intake assessments, nursing assessments and health screenings Administer TB tests Coordinate with interdisciplinary team including clinical and medical Understanding of detoxification protocols and assessments including CIWA/COWS preferred Documentation, observation of clients and appropriate charting Compliance with all DHCS regulations and CARF/JCAHO standards
