    Location: Redding, CA, 96001

    Start date: 10/28/2025 - 04/27/2026

    Pay: $25 to $30 depending on experience

    Job Summary:

    The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Per Diem provides high-quality nursing care to patients during night shifts in accordance with established policies, procedures, and scope of practice. The LVN assists in implementing patient care plans, administering medications, and supporting the healthcare team to ensure safe and efficient operations.

    Responsibilities:

    Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician.

    Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, accurately documenting all care provided.

    Monitor and record patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.

    Assist in patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.

    Maintain accurate and timely nursing records and reports.

    Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.

    Ensure compliance with all infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies.

    Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies during night hours.

    Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain licensure and competency.

    Qualifications:

    Current and valid California LVN License (or applicable state license).

    BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (required).

    Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience preferred (acute or long-term care).

    Excellent communication and organizational skills.

    Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision.
