LW Consulting, Inc. is pleased to work with our client North East of Allentown to place a Director of Nursing for their hospital affiliated skilled nursing center.

What are the position duties?

Be a key part of hiring and orientation of clinical staff at all levels

Develop and maintain clinical policies and procedures, and staff competencies related to physical care, functional status and social well-being for residents.

Promote quality care.

Assure compliance with all federal and state regulatory agencies and survey processes with DOH survey and licensure.

Maintain policies and procedures and education for Infection Control practices for individual and facility functioning. Develop standards of practice and work flow plans for ancillary departments within the facility.

What are the ideal candidate qualifications?

Must be a Registered Nurse in Commonwealth of Pennsylvania with an unencumbered license

Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s Degree Preferred)

3 years experience in long term care

Nursing management experience
