LW Consulting, Inc is working with a long time client in the greater D.C. metro area to place a CFO at their beautiful lifeplan community.  The campus includes independent living homes and apartments, assisted living apartments, skilled nursing and specialized memory care services on the more than 100 acre property.

The leadership team on the campus is dedicated to enriching the lives of the residents living there, and work cohesively to achieve that goal.

The CFO will report to the Chief Executive Officer and work along with all departments to lead all aspects of the financial operations for the organization. The CFO produces all financial reporting internally and externally for all stakeholders including board, staff, residents, auditors, and others. The CFO will also provide through regular reporting and education, that all department leaders understand the financial resources available, the appropriate procedures and processes for accessing such resources and effect of utilizing those resources at the department and organizational level.

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualities:

Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance required. Master’s Degree and CPA preferred,

A minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a leadership role in business or not-for-profit accounting and finance, preferably in senior living or aging services, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
