Purpose of Position: To assist in providing quality food prepared with the highest stan dar ds, and to maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen in excellent standards exceeding those mandated by the state health department.
Essential Functions:
Wash dishes effectively.
Properly use all equipment and chemical products as directe d.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and all food storage areas .
Exhibit courteous manner with guests and coworkers at all times.
Perform all other tasks as assigned by Executive Chef or General Manager.
All other duties as assigned.
Mandatory Job Requirements
Pleasant, cheerful personality.
Neat, well groomed appearance.
Wear appropriate company uniform, including name tag.
Must maintain the highest level of personal hygiene.
Flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
Must read, write and speak English.
Accountability
Maintain A rating on all department of health inspections.
Follow all state and federal guidelines including OSHA Hazardous Communication Training (Ledgestone implemented Group Policy) .
Maintain a high level of Quality, Service and Cleanliness .
Experience or Training Required
Food service certificate preferred.
License or Certification Required
None Required
Marginal Job Functions
Additional deep cleaning tasks during slow hours.
