La Primera has been serving the Torrance area for 55 plus years. We have 10 classrooms of fun! Our philosophy is learning through play. We are looking for a Preschool Teacher who likes to have fun! We are searching for someone that will help young children discover the joy of learning. Our teachers need to be positive, energetic, enthusiastic, creative and a team player.

What do you need to join the La Primera family:

• Must have 12 CHILD DEVELOPMENT OR EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATIONS UNITS. Willingness to act as a substitute when needed.

• Must have a health screen report (from doctor), immunization record with required immunizations: MMR, TDap, Flu shot (or signed waiver) and current TB test.

• Experience working in a preschool classroom (at least 2 years classroom experience)

• Have a live scan clearance

• Flexible working with all ages 2-5 years old.

• Able to work Monday-Friday from 8:30am - 3:30pm

• Have high energy with children

• Must be a team player
