POSITION OVERVIEW:
We have an immediate opening for a Field Services Department Manager in Baltimore, MD. Under the limited supervision of the Managing Director, this position will supervise a team of field service professionals charged with collecting environmental samples, transporting them to the laboratory, and logging them into a computerized tracking system. Must be able to gain an understanding of customer needs in relation to sample collections and plan/coordinate actions within the department to satisfy those needs. Must also possess the ability to effectively manage a team consisting of various experience levels. Position will require a high degree of client contact. Prior field sampling experience is required. Position also requires a clean driving record and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Advanced Excel and PC skills to include Microsoft Office suite and accounting software
Must have good knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, and should be good in planning, organizing and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communications capabilities. Communicate daily with all appropriate customers and personnel; complete reports as required on a timely basis
Basic leadership and decision-making skills
