Our client's mission is to solve the world's most challenging human risk problems by offering our customers innovative, reliable and accurate human risk screening technologies that will enable them to efficiently and effectively assess, manage and mitigate human risk.

This role would be building a modern micro service-based software stack to help guide our customers through the whole human risk management experience. We are expanding rapidly and looking for a strong Java engineer to build out new web applications. This is a hands-on role - you would be learning product tech stack, closely interact with customers, product managers, customer success team and implement solutions from concept to delivery! If you like building tools and platforms (API gateways, Multi Tenant, Row\Field level security, CI/CD) and you like to make a big impact on an early stage startup - this is a phenomenal opportunity.  Responsibilities

• Design and implement reliable technical infrastructure;
• Implement complex business logic;
• Promote best practices -- such as code reviews and unit tests;
• Ability to work with remote and offshore teams.
• Document knowledge and process using Confluence;
• Discuss with Production Managers on business requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years working experiences on JAVA based microservices architecture.
• Hands on experience with test driven development (TDD) is a must
• Development Methodologies experience with Scrum/Kanban.
• Experience with messaging products like RabbitMQ, Kafka
• Strong analytical, communication and team collaboration skills
• Ability to work with geographically distributed teams

Nice To Have

• Good understanding of the SaaS business model;
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes;
• Ability or passion to work on front end technologies
