    Our client is a growing and entrepreneurial manufacturer of sweet flavors that are used by manufacturers of Beverages, Confections, Bakery items, and more. Their competitive advantage lies in their ability to provide food and beverage producers with a product that meets the highest standards of quality, excellence, with a keen eye on exceptional customer service.

    We have R&D formulation labs and production sites in the US. We work with customers to help them develop innovative new products for the global market. We are looking to hire a sales professional who currently lives in the Midwest, has a myriad of contacts at food and beverage accounts in the Midwest, and can hit the ground running. Must have sweet flavor sales experience. This is a new position based on explosive growth in the sweet flavor segment.

    Requirements:

    • 5 years minimum prior experience working for a manufacturer of SWEET FLAVORS in an outside sales role
    • A proven successful track record of generating new business within the targeted market segment
    • Current and relevant knowledge of customers within the targeted territory
    • A confident and hard-working attitude. Positive, upbeat, and enthusiastic personality
    • Bachelor's degree desired but not required (Food Science, Chemistry, or Nutrition preferred)
    • Excellent negotiation skills, writing and presentation of contracts, etc. Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
    • Ability and desire to travel as much as needed to get the job done
    • A clean driving record and valid driver s license
