    Located in the private markets hotbed of SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA the Director, Global Private Market Sales will be responsible for leading a dynamic team of sales executives to achieve the business unit’s sales goals while building a distribution organization that will dominate new business in the various markets that are key for our client's success.We’re looking for someone who can engender trust and reputational equity in the market, and drive towards the organization’s sales goals.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Build an integrated sales and business development approach to drive a high performance sales engine across global private markets products
    • Identify, procure and realize new sources of profitable revenue
    • Partner with Marketing to spearhead awareness of the complete suite of solutions
    • Mentor and lead a high-performing Sales team with best practices in sales and market development that will enable us to be the leader in equity compensation
    • Achieve organic recurring revenue growth targets. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial awareness, inspiring sales leadership, and accept personal ownership of the largest commercial opportunities
    • Ensure Sales team is adopting best practices, such as Salesforce administration, maintenance and reporting, reliable Sales pipeline on-demand reporting, consistent pricing methodology and application of pricing, collaborating with global colleagues on multi-national opportunities and maintaining strong market analysis and segmentation strategies
    • Maintain vital relationships with senior client contacts across customer organizations
    • Keep Sales Team and Relationship Managers apprised of competitor activity and market activities in all of our target markets
    • Maintain a consistent standard of excellence in all interactions with prospects, including product demonstrations, RFP preparation, and quality and reliability of pricing proposals

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • College or university diploma or degree in Business, Economics or similar

    • Minimum 7 years in an Account Management or Sales role; experience in a software or technology environment is preferred

    • Proven success in building, leading and enabling high-performing sales teams is a must

    • Demonstrated success in B2B or consultative sales with any of the following is considered an asset:

    • SaaS solutions

    • equity compensation solutions (e.g., stock options, restricted stock, ESPPs)

    • finance or accounting solutions

    • HR benefits programs

    • Brokerage solutions

    • Experience in the equity or share plan industry, including group and retirement plans, would be beneficial but not required

    • Proven excellence in written and oral communication and presentation skills for a wide variety of audiences

    • Ability to effectively present a variety of service solutions by directing a diverse range of company resources in a team-selling dynamic

    • Comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment which includes ongoing learning and training opportunities

    • Ability to travel up to 50% of time within and outside North America
