The successful candidate will combine strong technical skills with creative problem solving abilities. We are seeking a dynamic, proactive software engineer to build out the operational technology platform with a view to automating processes and reporting across the group. The candidate will have an opportunity to make a valuable impact on the operations team by working in close collaboration with the investment team, engineering, trading, accounting and investor relations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Work with the operations group to design and build internal risk and control monitoring
• Consume data from third parties and build unified views and reporting
• Build intelligent, automated processes to streamline the workflow and reduce operational risk
• Participate in the logistics and operations of public and private trading, data validation, reconciliation, and risk management

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of professional software development experience, ideally within investment management
• Proven practical experience delivering production quality code
• Experience designing, building and maintaining relational databases using cloud based services
• Experience ingesting and processing financial data from a variety of third parties
• Responsible approach to writing testable, highly maintainable code
• Ability and interest in collaborating outside of the software engineering group
