    Our client develops and deploys software solutions that enable customers, including government agencies, financial firms, and insurers to increase revenues, lower costs, reduce risk and improve return on equity. Our client created a software execution framework that can efficiently process high volumes of data and understand complex real-world systems. Depending on the customer’s needs, their software can provide effective solutions for capital management, underwriting, and intelligence. This company employs experts in a variety of fields including Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Data Mining, Simulations, Algorithmic Distribution, Finance, Insurance, Applied Mathematics, and Data Science.

    Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Director, Enterprise Sales will manage a sales territory selling solutions to the financial services and insurance verticals

    Prospect, manage sales processes and close business in excess of quota in assigned territory.

    • Manage complete and complex sales-cycles often presenting to C-level key decision-making executives.
    • Manage pipeline and provide reporting to key internal partners on a regular basis
    • Evangelize the story and vision to the prospect community and other stakeholders.
    • Work collaboratively with other company executives, managers, and team members to help nurture our results driven, team-oriented environment

    Required Qualifications:

    • 5-10 years’ experience working in the insurance or financial services industry
    • 5-10 years’ experience in a sales/business development environment
    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related business, marketing or management field, MBA strongly preferred
    • Experience leading and closing deals >$1MM ACV
    • History of quota overachievement
    • Critical thinker with strong negotiating and strategic selling skills

    The Director of Enterprise Sales must be passionate, energetic, and self-driven with a hands-on approach, a can-do attitude, and a healthy dose of swagger. The successful candidate must possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit. He/she will be an excellent communicator and possess great listening skills. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, data-driven, decisive, disciplined, collaborative, strategic, practical, creative and innovative.

    Education:

    • Undergraduate or graduate degree in business or a technical / scientific field (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics)
    • MBA (ideal)
