They are looking for a versatile Front-End developer with experience building interfaces that simplify complex concepts. You will help develop a new integrated and visual developer environment that leverages a suite of developer tools their customers use to interface with their computing environment. As part of the Application Development Technologies and Tools team, you will build both client-side and server-side web interfaces, including visual debugging tools and graphical hybrid algorithm construction. In this role you can help define how users interact with a new generation of computing software.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new user-facing web content that meet business and technical requirements

• Build reusable code and libraries for future use

• Optimize for maximum speed and scalability

• Execute all visual design stages from concept to development

• Conceptualize original visualizations that bring simplicity to complex ideas

• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience as a front-end developer using React, Angular.js, jQuery, and npm

• Experience with Python and/or C is an asset; you'll need to build on top of and possibly contribute to an existing collection of Python and C tools

• Experience writing plug-ins for IDEs would be a great asset but is not required

• Strong attention to detail, solid organizational and time management skills

• Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills; you’ll need to work 1-on-1 with external clients and internal teams
