Director of Clinical and Biomedical Engineering

We are looking for a Leader possessing at least 3 years of progressively more responsibility in management or a supervisory role combined with a minimum of 7 years of clinical or medical imaging equipment service experience. The Director of Clinical and Biomedical Engineering is responsible for providing leadership, vision, and a working environment that promotes teamwork and customer satisfaction, and for ensuring that the standards of service are met for the Clinical and Medical Imaging Engineering team.
This role will perform and maintain competencies as required by regulatory requirements and population served as well as maintain departmental budgets of the department. You will review, evaluate, and report on the quantity, quality, and effectiveness of department personnel. Oversee maintenance of department records including equipment master files, inventory listings, and equipment maintenance histories. This role will also manage vendor service quality assurance program consisting of: verifying quality of vendor service, auditing field service reports for completion and accuracy, auditing vendor invoices for accuracy, approving vendor invoices for payment and will also develop, evaluate, and report on quantity, quality, and effectiveness of departmental service programs and services as well as additional Director responsibilities.
