    What you will be doing:
    • Prepare and negotiate commercial leases for both landlords and tenants.
    • Draft and negotiate commercial and residential purchase and sale agreements.
    • Analyze and negotiate real estate loan and financing documents.
    • Review and analyze surveys, title commitments, and environmental reports.
    • Conduct due diligence in legal matters related to real estate and environmental issues.
    • Prepare various real estate closing documents.
    • Draft easements and handle Torrens proceedings.
    • Analyze and negotiate construction and AIA contracts.
    • Ability to work between core office hours of 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

    Experience you will need:
    • Experience in lease drafting and negotiation with a solid foundation in real estate law.
    • 3-5 years of commercial real estate experience - don't need people with more litigation experience than real estate.
    • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
    • Licensed to practice in Minnesota with a bar membership in good standing.
    • Ideally, previous experience with diverse commercial real estate transactions, including lease agreements, negotiations, disputes, easements, etc.
    • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
    • Strong analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects effectively.
    • Capability to develop and implement legal strategies.
    • Comfortable interacting directly with attorneys and clients.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and productively.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
