    In this role, you will test, analyze, and report design reliability findings and collaborate cross-functionally as an advocate for reliability and performance improvement

     

    What will you be doing?

    • Define and document Reliability requirements for products, materials, and processes
    • Develop and implement reliability test plans, procedures, and methods
    • Develop accelerated test models to address leading failure mechanisms and risks
    • Manage the development of reliability test fixtures and environments
    • Lead, facilitate, and document FMEA efforts
    • Champion Design-for-Reliability and lead initiatives for continuous product improvement
    • Advocate, drive, and/or monitor root cause failure analyses and assure corrective actions are validated
    • Conduct tests, studies, and surveys to proactively establish reliability test parameters, methods, and assumptions based on empirical data and industry best practices
    • Establish baseline reliability qualification and characterization test standards and methods for new or modified products, new or alternate materials, manufacturing processes or process changes, and ongoing assurance of baseline product reliability
    • Develop subject matter expertise regarding high risk and high-frequency failure modes, especially for methods of detection and analysis

    What do we require from you

    • BS or higher degree in Engineering or Physics
    • Minimum 2 years professional experience in reliability engineering
    • Experience using appropriate analytical techniques to solve critical reliability problems
    • Direct experience working with environmental testing equipment
    • Excellent documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills are required
    • Creativity & problem solving skills demonstrated ability to learn on the job and acquire new skills and a can-do attitude
