  • Responsibilities

    Product Manager  |  Fulltime opportunity for a Product Manager to be responsible for the Initiation and management of product planning, delivery, and marketing throughout the product portfolio life cycle.

    Main Duties and Responsibilities Include:

    • Manage new product introductions including value prop development, sales training, forecasting, competitive environment, and pricing, ensuring profitable and differentiated positioning in strategic target markets.
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders as the product expert on market research, sales planning, engineering development, and manufacturing to ensure successful product launches into the marketplace.
    • Work with OEM customers, distributors, contractors, and product end users to understand and collect the voice of customer (VOC).
    • Take ownership of product lifecycle management by establishing and overseeing the product lifecycle process; encompassing the introduction of new products, maintenance of maturing products, and retirement of aging SKUs.
    • Develop a deep understanding of alternative and competing technologies, businesses and value in the marketplace to enhance our product strategy.
    • Incorporate data, research, and market analysis to improve product strategies and roadmaps.
    • Remain current in understanding new technologies, products and governing body standards changes, that could be used for current and new business opportunities.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product vision, define product requirements, coordinate resources from other groups, and guide the team through key milestones, and manage product
    • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products.
    • Identify and track key performance metrics.

     

    Qualification Requirements:  The candidate must have experience in a manufacturing environment. Must have an engineering background. Must have worked with electrical components.

    • Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related equivalent degree. Bachelor’s in Engineering a plus.
    • 3+ years of proven experience in Product Management in related industry.
    • 3+ years in a technically driven environment within a broad cross functional team.
    • Analysis skills: analyze data for industry trends, customer insights, and sales performance
    • An in-depth understanding of product costing attributes
    • Collaboration skills: work with senior management, operations, engineering, and supply teams
    • Project Management skills: manage multiple projects, product lines and deliverables
    • Knowledge of business fundamentals, engineering concepts, and the marketing and sales process
    • Collaborative, supportive, team-based thinking
    • Ability to be extremely focused and organized
    • High level of capability and experience in delivering results in a rapidly changing and intense environment
    • Process oriented and systems thinking with the ability to solve problems
