    Our client is looking for a product manager for the video player feature of their platform.

    This Product Manager owns the customer experience for video players across the platform, experimenting with new content formats and features to drive increased engagement and consumption.

     

    You Will...

    • Partner with the Content Organization to establish the vision, roadmap and goals for new products and features focused on increasing engagement and growing the business
    • Develop ROI targets and incremental investment cases for Video products & features
    • Improve Video Discovery and optimize the Video Player placement, content, and features
    • Work with Data Science to personalize video content for each visitor
    • Develop outstanding experiences while balancing the need to generate revenue through Ad products
    • Work with important partners from groups across the company including senior leadership, community, revenue, marketing, product, engineering, design, data, and more.
    • Develop new monetization features and sponsorship opportunities with the Revenue Organization
    • Work with Marketing & Analytics to develop ways to drive new Video engagement across Fandom.
    • Use A/B testing, UX research, and other data, both quantitative and qualitative to inform product decisions and prioritization
    • Create product requirements and functional specifications to guide product development
    • Define what success looks like, how it will be measured, and how it will impact company-wide goals
    • Help analyze data and metrics to inform decisions
    • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
    • Work with engineering teams to reliably deliver high-quality products and features
    • Work with community team to drive feature adoption and user engagement

     

    You Have...

    • Passion about the entertainment space and are a fan yourself
    • 5+ years of product management experience with 2+ years on content related consumer products
    • Experience building new, innovative, and engaging customer experiences that are informed by customer data from various sources
    • Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to a changing environment
    • Excellent quantitative skills, with an ability to run A/B tests, conduct analysis, and draw meaningful insights to guide decision making
    • Demonstrated track record of product leadership
    • Ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience
    • Proven experience defining and measuring engagement metrics

    Bonus Points if You Have...

    • Experience with JW Player or similar video platforms
    • Short form video content
    • UGC experience
