    Senior Electrical and Firmware Engineer, New Development \- Dallas, TX

    Work with a leading technology innovator for all applications, from aircraft to automotive to refrigeration and more. Design of electronic and electromechanical products for industrial market segments. Design and develop products that meet customer’s requirements by customizing existing or developing new product designs.

    This opportunity will allow you to own and lead a project from beginning to production. Participate in PCB design, primarily analog and firmware development.

    What will you be doing?

    • Report to the Engineering Manager and work in a multi-functional team

    • New product design and development

    • Ability to lead a project from inception through production

    • Design new products (end items and components) in accordance with project plans and schedule

    • Develop and maintain design requirement specifications, test plans, control plans, and technical data sheets for newer products

    • Generate PCBs as required for new application

    • Develop firmware for products using C language’s

    • Compile parts lists, order components, and build and test prototype PCB assemblies

    • Perform analysis, simulations, and testing of electronic systems and prepare corrective actions as needed.

    • Provide technical specifications and drawings for procuring PCB assemblies for new products.

    • Interface with customers and participate in system and field testing of electronic products.

    • Lead cross-functional teams to o timize new designs to meet quality, cost, and schedule requirements driven by specific customer requirements or market needs.


    Qualifications | What are the minimum qualifications?

    • Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline

    • 6+ years of experience in electronics design/testing and firmware development

    • Some digital and/or analog experience

    • Strong knowledge of test equipment and its operation for analog/digital circuits

    • Proficiency in embedded programming using C

    • Familiar with DMM/Oscilloscope/Signal Generators/Power Supplies and any other equipment required to complete daily duties

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
