Job Summary

We are seeking a Lab Collector to join our team. In this role, you will collect blood, tissue, and fluid samples from patients. This is a role that can make a significant impact in people’s lives, helping them identify underlying conditions and stay healthy. Full Time Monday - Thursday 8:30 to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

Prioritize requests for sample collection based on urgency

Collect patients’ personal information

Determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient

Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process

Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood

Correctly label samples and send for testing

Qualification

Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods

Familiarity with the legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples

Strong computer and data entry skills
