Job Description

• Test and analyze product data
• Work independently or with a team
• Perform product testing.
• Support new product development and quality control
• Ensure overall Good Laboratory Practices and cleanliness.
• Execute all assigned task and/or testing following current or proposed procedures.
• Keep up to date with technical developments and implement procedures/technologies which can save time and improve reliability.
• Assist in pilot trials and production trials
• Produce and analyze batch samples
• Taste and smell for quality control
• Problem solve
• Attention to details

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Detail oriented.
• Prior experience/interaction with Food Industry/manufacturing standards.
• Should be able to lift 50lbs on a regular basis and feel comfortable working around equipment and forklift traffic.
• Able to work any shift, weekday and weekends, outside weather conditions (extreme hot and cold) and inside conditions which consist of an extremely cold environment (refrigerated atmosphere 35-50 degrees) with little or no supervision.
