    Finance Policies & Procedures & Compliance Coordinator At Fermilab, Batavia, IL - Contract 1 Year Project.

    Our client, Fermilab, has a need for a Finance Policies; Procedures Review, & Compliance Coordinator. This is a hybrid, full-time position that will have on site work at the Batavia, IL facility. The initial contract period will be for 12 months with the potential to be hired. The percentage of time working on onsite will be determined by your Mgr. (Expect onsite a minimum of 2 days/wk.)

    Major responsibilities and duties:

    • Review alignment of our departments policies and procedures with DOE Financial Management Handbook, and other DOE applicable directives and orders
    • Identify gaps and proposes corrective actions
    • Work across teams to update policies and procedures and implement corrective actions to complete alignment against DOE requirements
    • Develop and deliver periodic updates to Finance leadership and other stakeholders as necessary

    Required Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as law, business, finance, or compliance.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in reviewing and updating financial policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (experience with governmental agencies (e.g., DOD, DOE, etc.) is a plus)
