  • Responsibilities

    We are looking for Staging Clerk to join our Production Department. The Staging Clerk will be the go to person for picking all upcoming orders. This position will also be responsible for stocking and cleaning as needed in the warehouse.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Work with Production scheduling and the QA process of checking Work Orders.
    • Finish all daily picks by deadline, including labeling boxes, preparing boxes, pulling dies, cores, and paper for staging at the press.
    • Verify the BOM is correct before picking items.
    • Ensure that the items at the press for staging are accurate items and the appropriate amount.
    • Label, tape and stage all the boxes to the appropriate press’s staging area.
    • Have the Press Captain sign off on the materials on the pick ticket for accuracy.
    • Ensure that the Press Lead/Assistant does not run out of the picked items during the job’s run.
    • Move finished goods as needed from press.
    • Return all raw goods back to the initial, correct bin if not all used.
    • Staging work orders for the return process.
    • Handles, drives, and maneuvers a forklift for unloading and loading materials and supplies.
    • Keep aisles neat and organized.
    • Take out trash from presses, sink area, and lunch room.
    • Continue to check presses for items needed or cleaned. Every Friday replenish all of the work stations fully, clean, and organize the stations.
    • Set up for morning runs if necessary.
    • Rewind when needed.
    • Sweep and clean up press areas throughout the day.
    • Put boxes away as needed throughout the day.
    • Make boxes on down time.
    • Sweep Warehouse/Plant floors every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
    • Mop Warehouse/Plant floors every Tuesday and Thursday.
    • Assist shipping/receiving when needed.

    Requirements:

    • Must be able to read and understand job specifications. Must be able to use and read a standard and metric ruler.
    • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, grasp and reach frequently.
    • Must be able to perform well under deadline constraints and meet quality standards.
    • Must be detailed oriented and have excellent, quality driven work habits.
    • Good work history and attendance.
    • A positive and helpful attitude.
    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Able to be on your feet and moving around for the duration of your shift. This is a fast-paced environment that is somewhat physically demanding. The ability to lift up to 80lbs is required. 
    • Must be a United States citizen or legal resident.
    • General proficiency with computers.
    • Attentive to details, ability to follow written instructions and procedures.
    • Consistency and accuracy in repetitive tasks.
    • Adhere to all quality and safety standards.
