JOB DESCRIPTION Retiree Advocates acts as the healthcare concierges for high touch member concerns. Advocates are the face of Labor First, LLC and responsible for making a lasting impression on members. Retiree Advocates should have excellent customer service skills and be attentive, patient, courteous, and quick-thinking. Please note that this is an Entry Level Position.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicating with members, doctors, and pharmacies
• Interacting with clients and insurance companies
• Entering and updating data in CRM software
• Maintaining, expanding, and servicing existing clients
• Ensuring exceptional customer service
• Problem solving capabilities and quick thinking
• Ability to travel for retiree meetings and events

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Preferred Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Computer Skills including Microsoft Office - specifically Excel
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in healthcare billing and coding
• Experience working with Taft-Hartley and/or multiemployer Health funds
• Spanish language skills
• Clinical knowledge
• Prescription Claims Processing
• Medication administration and Medicare Guidelines
• Basic understanding of Medicare Prescription Benefits
• Life and Health Producer License
