Labor One Staffing is hiring – Transportation Journeyman

This job requires the operation of material moving vehicles in compliance with all safety and hazardous waste regulations. Vocational training in the operation of heavy equipment and vehicles is a plus.

- DOT Hazardous Materials Transportation Training

- Three (3) years of experience operating fork lifts and material hauling vehicles.

QUALIFICATIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Forklift Operator Certification

Class “A” Driver License.
Class “B” Driver License

Perform pre-operational checks on forklifts and vehicles.
Perform vehicle oil changes in accordance with OEM and BAE System procedures.

Clean and perform routine inspections and adjustments on vehicles.
Examine mechanical equipment and identify reason for malfunction.

Performs other duties as assigned
Keep maintenance and delivery records.

Arrive at the designated work site at the assigned time and end the shift as directed by the schedule and your supervisor.

Personnel are accountable for completion of daily work assignments.
Keep your work area clean and safe at all times, especially at the end of the shift.
Understand relevant work processes, operation of equipment, and complete tasks proficiently. Work shifts and overtime as assigned.
