LABOR ROCKET is hiring MACHINE OPERATORS for a FLINT, MI tier-one automotive supplier. 

$15.50/HR TO START -

This is a long-term full-time job opportunity with benefits and room for advancement.

Shifts: Four days one week then three days the next week

1st: 6 AM - 6 PM

2nd: 6 PM - 6 AM

Labor Rocket has partnered with an automotive manufacturer in Flint, MI and is currently seeking hard-working individuals to train and work in their machine operating department. This is a long-term opportunity for an individual with great attendance, attitude, and work ethic! Opportunity for advancement into many different departments and roles. Facility is located on the north side of town.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for using all safety equipment in the manufacturing area.
• Responsible for startup, changing inserts, and adjusting the robot to specifications.
• Be able to hit hourly production goals and produce quality parts.
• Preform quality inspections and checks on all part measurements throughout the shift.
• Load parts onto conveyors and finished product into dunnage for shipping.
• Preventive maintenance, daily housekeeping functions like organization of work area and cleaning of equipment.

Experience with assembly, machine operating, packaging, and quality inspection in an automotive manufacturing facility is preferred but not required. Training will be provided. 

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent 
• Be able to pass a drug test and background check
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime
• Lift up to 50 pounds and the ability to stand throughout your shift
