    Position Overview

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Laboratory Sales Representative to manage and grow our customer base across Maryland and Washington, DC. The ideal candidate has a strong background in lab products, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to exceed sales targets in a competitive environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue goals across assigned territory

    Identify, qualify, and close sales with medical facilities and providers, hospitals, clinics, universities, research institutions and all other firms that require lab testing.

    Deliver product presentations and technical demonstrations to key stakeholders

    Build and maintain strong relationships with lab managers, procurement officers, and C-suite contacts

    Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, support, and customer satisfaction

    Maintain accurate records in CRM and provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in a life science, chemistry, or related field

    2–5 years of sales experience, preferably in laboratory diagnostics, patient care, or biotech

    Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas

    Strong knowledge of laboratory workflows, instruments, and compliance standards (e.g., CLIA, CAP)

    Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills

    Self-starter with the ability to manage time effectively in a field-based role

    Valid driver's license and willingness to travel across Maryland and DC (up to 60%)
