Job Description

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Laboratory Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential operational and technical support to ensure laboratory workflows run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality standards. This position is ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in a scientific laboratory environment while developing hands‑on skills across multiple areas of lab operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify data for accuracy and completeness
• Manage samples throughout their lifecycle
• Organize and maintain laboratory and chemical inventories, including ordering and restocking supplies
• Perform weekly and quarterly laboratory and equipment cleanings
• Prepare buffers and other laboratory solutions
• Calibrate laboratory equipment and maintain the equipment database
• Operate a wide range of laboratory instruments
• Conduct routine safety assessments to support a safe working environment
• Follow all applicable GMP guidelines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or a related scientific discipline, or an associate’s degree with 2 years of experience in a GMP laboratory setting
• Strong computer proficiency, scientific understanding, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively; demonstrates self‑motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

What to Expect in the Interview Process:

• 10-15 Minute Phone Interview with the Lead Recruiter
• 60 Minute Interview with Regional Manager

The position is full-time, first shift, Monday through Friday. Candidates must be flexible to adapt to schedule changes requiring shift changes and/or weekend work, and overtime may be required as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Branchburg, New Jersey , are encouraged to apply.
