Laboratory Technician (Philippines)
Job Description
This position is based in the Philippines and will support the stand-up and operation of a contracted Role 2 Medical Treatment Facility located in Lal-Lo. The assignment is scheduled from April 18 through June 19, 2026, and will provide expeditionary medical support to U.S. military personnel and other authorized beneficiaries operating in the region.
Please note that this is a temporary contract position and is not based in the United States. Candidates must be willing and able to travel internationally and work in an overseas operational environment for the duration of the contract.
The Laboratory Technician evaluates specimens, performs routine and complex analytical testing, ensures assay quality control, maintains and troubleshoots laboratory equipment, manages laboratory inventory, and keeps detailed records of all test results. In a remote, resource-limited, and high-stress setting, the role establishes, operates, and maintains reliable diagnostic capability with minimal supervision to support immediate clinical and public health decisions for authorized beneficiaries.
