Responsibilities: • Receive, log, and process environmental and materials samples for analysis. • Perform laboratory tests following approved EPA, ASTM, and NIOSH methods. • Conduct sample preparation, dilutions, extractions, and instrument runs (e.g., GC, ICP, HPLC ) under supervision. • Maintain accurate data entry and chain-of-custody documentation in the LIMS system. • Calibrate, clean, and maintain analytical instruments and lab equipment. • Support the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) and participate in internal QA/QC activities. • Adhere to the Chemical Hygiene Plan (CHP) , safety protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Qualifications: • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field. Equivalent technical experience considered. • Experience: 1–5 years in an analytical, environmental, or materials testing laboratory preferred. • Knowledge of EPA analytical methods and ISO/IEC 17025 standards is a plus. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity. • Ability to follow detailed procedures and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Comfortable working with chemicals, instrumentation, and lab automation software (LIMS, Excel, or equivalent). Compensation: $60,000 – $80,000 annually
