Axillon Aerospace is seeking a dedicated and organized Stockroom Coordinator to join our team at our Rockmart facility. As a Stockroom Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our aerospace and defense operations by managing inventory, organizing stockroom activities, and ensuring the availability of necessary materials for production and maintenance tasks. This full-time, regular/at-will entry-level position requires no travel and offers an hourly wage. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include: - Overseeing the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and tools, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Conducting regular inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy. - Organizing stockroom layout to optimize space and workflow, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment. - Coordinating with procurement and production departments to ensure material availability and timely restocking. - Implementing and maintaining inventory management systems and procedures. - Preparing and maintaining detailed records and reports of stockroom activities. - Assisting in the development of stockroom strategies to improve efficiency and reduce waste. - Collaborating with other departments to support overall company objectives and projects. - Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
