    Axillon Aerospace is seeking a dedicated and organized Stockroom Coordinator to join our team at our Rockmart facility. As a Stockroom Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our aerospace and defense operations by managing inventory, organizing stockroom activities, and ensuring the availability of necessary materials for production and maintenance tasks. This full-time, regular/at-will entry-level position requires no travel and offers an hourly wage. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include: - Overseeing the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials and tools, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Conducting regular inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy. - Organizing stockroom layout to optimize space and workflow, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment. - Coordinating with procurement and production departments to ensure material availability and timely restocking. - Implementing and maintaining inventory management systems and procedures. - Preparing and maintaining detailed records and reports of stockroom activities. - Assisting in the development of stockroom strategies to improve efficiency and reduce waste. - Collaborating with other departments to support overall company objectives and projects. - Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.     Required Skills

    • Managing inventory in Freezer warehouse (0 degree)
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Ensures that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel
    • Maintains controls over various types of inventories (e.g., raw materials, subassemblies, finished goods)
    • Conducts physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory records
    • Completes analyses of inventory levels, and coordinates with production and other functional areas for requirements
    • Maintains inventory records in accordance with established systems and control procedures
    • Communicates effectively through phone, e-mail and correspondence, while maintaining a professional manner
    • Coordinates and communicates with other departments to resolve and close actions
    • Generates required documentation or reports and assists in tracking department performance towards goals and objectives
    • Verifies and maintains records on incoming and outgoing materials
    • Support shipments of Return to vendors and subcontract materials
    • Follow all safety protocols and procedures
    • Other responsibilities as assigned

    Required Experience

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Experience in stockroom, inventory management, or related field preferred not mandatory
    • Experience with electronic inventory tracking and data entry
    • Proven track record of maintaining accurate inventory records
    • History of adhering to safety guidelines and procedures in a warehouse or stockroom setting
    • Ability to learn how to properly operate the walk behind lifts (electric pallet jack)

    • Basic understating of inventory management tools such as FIFO, Cycle counting, Lot traceability

    • Basic understating of measurement conversions (i.e sqft to liner ft, sq yards to yards, etc..)

    • Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures

    • Ability to research and analyze data effectively

    • Ability to gather data, to compile information, and prepare reports

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Ability to influence stakeholders

    • Track record of building and maintaining customer/client relationships
