Responsibilities:
The target of this job is to develop competitive and high-quality products with sophisticated design. Following the R&D guidance and reporting to the R&D manager/project manager, the Mechanical Engineer plays an important role in the multi-disciplinary engineering teamwork, which may involve team members majoring in chemistry/life science, electronics, and software, and is responsible for realizing the ideas to meet customers’ needs.
Job duties:
a. Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs for new products
b. Out-sourcing for machine shop/contractors to make prototype as well as final products
c. Develop testing processes, and perform testing and validation of new designs
d. Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstration
e. Perform engineering calculations to support design work
f. Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software
g. Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process
h. Ensure project timeline is met and project stays within budget
i. Production equipment maintenance/repair
Requirements:
j. Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical engineering
k. 2-5 years of experience working in engineering
l. Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and experience designing mechanical systems and products
m. Experiences in mold design is advantageous
n. Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar
o. Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
p. Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
q. Must be self-motivated and a great team worker

Compensation
