Job Summary We are looking for energetic and dependable Lacrosse Coaches and Instructors to join our Columbus team. In this hands-on role, you’ll lead players in weekend practices and game play while delivering the i9 Sports Experience—a positive, safe, and fun sports environment where kids build skills, learn the "fastest game on two feet," and grow their confidence.

Responsibilities

Lead age-appropriate sessions: Conduct practices focusing on lacrosse fundamentals, cradling, scooping, passing, and catching with a constant focus on fun.

Model Core Values: Teach and demonstrate i9 Sportsmanship values, teamwork, and respect on and off the field.

Clear Communication: Proactively communicate with players and families regarding schedules, skill progression, and game-day updates.

Safety & Encouragement: Maintain a safe environment while building athlete confidence through "teachable moments."

Customer Experience: Deliver a high-energy, professional experience to parents and players every week.

Qualifications

Sport Knowledge: Prior lacrosse coaching or playing experience is required (youth coaching experience is a major plus).

Leadership: Strong communication skills and the ability to command the attention of a group of youth athletes.

Personality: Reliable, energetic, and enthusiastic—you are the face of the program!

Initiative: A self-starter who can work independently and adapt drills based on player skill levels.

Availability: Must be available on weekends (typically a 6-week season, primarily Saturdays).
