    Associate Attorney - General Liability/Professional Liability We are hiring a 3+ year litigation associate for our general liability/professional liability practice group in our San Diego office. The ideal candidate will have experience in representing both design professionals and miscellaneous professionals. Must have excellent writing and oral advocacy skills and significant experience in discovery and law and motion practice. Must also be a self-starter who possesses strong organizational skills, is able to work with multiple clients, and is ready to hit the ground running. Responsibilities: • Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action • Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice • Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings • Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently • Keep files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff Qualifications: • Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients • Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association) • Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base • Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school • Successful completion of the bar exam Compensation: $115,000+ DOE
