You will be responsible for diagnosing, recommending, maintaining, and handling overall general repairs. This individual communicates with the foreman and/or Service Advisors. Responsibilities: • Ensure accurate record-keeping for vehicle repairs, maintenance, and service history • Complete preventive maintenance work on vehicles, including oil changes, air conditioning service, filling fluids, and replacing brake pads, spark plugs, and batteries • Identify and address mechanical problems and malfunction codes found in the vehicle's electrical system, mechanical systems, and electronic systems • Continue learning and growing technical skills and opportunities • Preparing estimates, timelines, and other necessary documents for auto repairs • Continue learning and growing technical skills and opportunities • Complete preventive maintenance work on vehicles, including oil changes, air conditioning service, filling fluids, and replacing brake pads, spark plugs, and batteries • Identify and address mechanical problems and malfunction codes found in the vehicle's electrical system, mechanical systems, and electronic systems • Conduct test drives, inspections, and diagnostic tests to determine automotive malfunctions • Work with team members to determine vehicle problems and solutions Qualifications: • Preferred education is an associate’s degree from a technical school or relevant automotive program and/or ASE certification • A valid driver’s license is necessary • Must be an effective communicator who maintains a solid work ethic • Strong manual dexterity and proficiency with hand tools and other repair shop equipment is necessary • Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent Compensation: $65,000 - $100,000+ yearly DOE
