Lake Country Power is a Touchstone Energy® electrical distribution cooperative with 43,000 members in northeastern Minnesota. We have an excellent opportunity for a Communications and Digital Media Coordinator.

This position serves as the Cooperative's communications and social media expert on various print and digital platforms including the company's internal and external newsletter, management of the company website, and digital production of various media technologies including graphic design, photography, and video.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS INCLUDE:  

• This position requires an Associate Degree in communications plus two years professional work experience OR a Bachelor's Degree in communications, marketing, journalism, business administration, or related field.
• Three-five years of experience in digital media preferred – writing, video production and editing, marketing, storytelling, and field production.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• A working knowledge of desktop publishing and graphic design programs.
• Functional knowledge and/or personal experience with web content management platforms is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills relative to all audiences.
• A valid Minnesota Class D driver's license is required.
