  • Responsibilities

    Steadfast is seeking a highly motivated Lake Maintenance - Field Technician to join our team. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in their work, and have excellent customer communication skills. You#39;ll be responsible for maintaining lakes, ponds, and other bodies of water for a variety of clients throughout the Greater Tampa Bay area.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage aquatic vegetation and algae at client locations.
    • Perform water testing, fish stocking, and other lake and pond services.
    • Communicate effectively with Homeowners Associations, Management Companies, and Property Owners to address their aquatic needs.
    • Maintain accurate customer records in our service software.
    • Represent Steadfast professionally to help grow the business.

    Requirements:

    • Ability to read and understand herbicide labels, operating procedures, and safety guidelines.
    • Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
    • A collaborative team player who enjoys outdoor work.
    • Comfortable interacting with customers to discuss their lake and pond care needs.

    Preferred Skills and Experience:

    • Previous experience in lawn service or pest control is advantageous.
    • Mechanical or electrical knowledge is a plus.
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework is helpful but not mandatory.
    • Bilingual skills are a bonus but not required.

    Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

    • Ability to safely operate equipment outdoors, in or near water, in environments with heavy vegetation, wildlife, and varying weather conditions.
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in diverse weather conditions.
    • Operate vehicles such as boats, all-terrain vehicles, and trucks as part of daily duties.

    Other Requirements:

    • Valid Florida Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
    • Reliable transportation to and from work.
    • Successful completion of background checks, motor vehicle record checks, and drug screening.
    • Full-time availability only.

    Work Location: Greater Tampa Bay Area
