LMES Dump Truck Driver- Gilbert Branch

Position Class: Field- Hourly

Hours Required: 40+ Per Week Pay: $14-$17/Hour based on experience and qualifications.

Reports To: 621 Shore Rd. Gilbert, SC 29054

Description

This position operates within our debris removal and erosion control division of our company. The operator will be driving a two axle dump truck that is loaded by a skid steer with construction materials used to build residential homes. Once filled, the driver dumps at local landfills and returns to the locations we service. Drivers may help as needed with loading cans with building debris by hand on site. Hours are approximately 7am-4pm on Monday through Friday with overtime available at certain times of the year.

Required Job Knowledge, Experience, and Skills

· A valid SC driver’s license and ability to meet insurance requirements (required), DOT Card (preferred)

· Must have a reliable cell phone (LMES will provide a stipend for use of phone by the crew leader)

Job Duties

· Go over the daily work schedule with the Branch Manager each morning

· Assist with loading trucks with proper materials each morning

· Represent LMES in a professional manner to customers and homeowners at all times

· Complete all debris removal work to a high standard of excellence and LMES quality

· Follow all safety protocols pertaining to vehicles, equipment, or site conduct as instructed

· Remove all construction debris along assigned daily route to the specifications of LMES standards

· Communicate effectively with branch manager and fellow crew members

· Achieve daily and weekly goals for your crew

· Ensure vehicles, tools, and equipment are taken care of and inspected properly

· Relay important information, incident reports, or concerns utilizing the proper chain of command
