**RESPONSIBILITIES:
** Support of Blackboard Transact, Business office operations, Advancement, and other Banner operations as assigned. Duties will include problem resolution, maintenance of existing in-house reports, and development of new reports as needed, maintaining/developing documentation for in-house reports, development and coordination of reporting to state and federal regulating authorities and other tasks associated with ongoing operations within these areas. Other miscellaneous duties associated with ongoing operations within the Information Technology Services Department. Cameron University is currently running Ellucian Banner software on a Sun Solaris Unix operating system. The database environment is Oracle utilizing SQL, PL/SQL, and IBM Cognos for data extraction and reporting.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A demonstrated ability to learn and use programming languages is required. Must be a team player with excellent verbal and written communications skills. Must interact well with others. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, management, and vendors. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization may exist.
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
** Bachelor’s degree in CS, CIS or MIS or related area. Experience with Ellucian software (or similar ERP system). Working knowledge of Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, shell scripting, as well as experience in database tools such as Toad or SQL Developer. Working knowledge of reporting tools such as Oracle Apex or IBM Cognos. Working knowledge of IBM Cognos administration. Experience in extracting data utilizing SQL into Excel.
