Security Officer – Lakefront Community (Gate & Patrol Officer)

Location: Auburn, PA Company: KRE Security, LLC Job Type: Full-Time (Permanent Assignment) Pay: $15.50 – $16.75/hour

Position Overview

KRE Security, LLC is hiring Security Officers for a prestigious gated lakefront community in Auburn, PA. This is a permanent, structured assignment offering a consistent schedule and a professional environment. Officers in this role are responsible for both gate access control and community patrol duties, ensuring the safety, security, and smooth daily operations of the property.

This position is ideal for dependable individuals who are attentive, professional, and comfortable working in a public-facing security role within a residential community setting.

Schedule

First shift coverage

Weekend availability required

Consistent, non-rotating schedule

Assigned post with long-term placement potential

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will be responsible for both front gate operations and patrol duties throughout the community, including:

Gate Access Control

Monitor and control entry and exit at the community gate

Verify residents, guests, and vendors prior to granting access

Record all vehicle and visitor activity in daily logs

Communicate professionally with residents and guests at the gate

Ensure only authorized individuals enter the community

Patrol Responsibilities

Patrol community roads, amenities, and perimeter areas

Conduct routine vehicle patrols using a company-provided vehicle (if assigned)

Identify and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, or violations

Respond to alarms, disturbances, or resident concerns

Ensure community rules and security policies are followed

Additional Duties

Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports via smartphone or reporting system

Provide professional presence and customer service while maintaining security standards

Communicate clearly with supervisors, management, and residents

Support overall safety and order within the community

Requirements

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Professional appearance and demeanor at all times

Ability to work independently and stay alert during long shifts

Must be comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions

Security experience preferred but not required

Must pass a background check

Reliable attendance and punctuality required
