Lakeshore Kitchen Tune-Up is seeking an entry level Cabinet Technicians / Trim Carpenters / Cabinet Installers / Experienced cabinet re-facers to work on home remodeling projects

Lakeshore Kitchen Tune-up has been in operation for over 30 years and prides itself in our high-quality craftsmanship. In response to our growing share of business, we are looking for dedicated craftsmen to join our team in completing kitchen remodeling projects in homes across our community. We are seeking career minded remodelers or construction professionals who are willing to learn new techniques and are looking for a stable, well-paying career. This is a hands-on position and the ability to safely operate power hand tools is helpful. Training is provided for the completion of cabinet re-dooring, refacing, and kitchen remodeling projects. Transportation is a requirement. We work primarily in kitchen & bathroom remodeling and cabinetry.

Responsibilities of Installer:

Arrive to job site on time

Follow instructions given by project manager

Communicate with project manager daily about progress

Follow Kitchen Tune Up Trustpoints on every job

Follow company policies and procedures

Work quickly and efficiently

Be able to follow all company installation processes and procedures

Keep work area clean and orderly and clean up daily

Able to put on veneer on boxes

Able to install end panels

Able to install cabinet doors and drawer fronts

Able to drill for hinges

Able to install roll-out trays in cabinets

Able to modify existing cabinets when required

Able to cut & install crown molding

Able to install new cabinets

Must take personal pride in a job well done the first time

Must a reliable form of transportation and no physical limitations to perform the tasks required

Additional Skills (preferred but not required). Training is provided.

Prior experience in cabinet refacing and cabinet installation

Understand Cabinet layout designs and terminology

Prior experience in custom shop work

Able to perform minor handyman work including electrical outlets, installing microwaves, and an understanding of basic plumbing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
