    RETAIL DISTRICT MANAGER - WEST DISTRICT OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS AT THE LAKESHORE LEARNING STORE. ARE YOU READY? You don’t need a background in education, but a desire to learn is essential! As leader of multiple store management teams, you set the tone and expectation for developing first-class retail teams who maximize store sales, provide guests with memorable specialty retail experiences, and run their stores in a manner outlined by Lakeshore. LAKESHORE LEARNING RETAIL DISTRICT MANAGERS HAVE A KNACK FOR LEADING BY EXAMPLE. In fact, this is the glue that holds a successful retail team together…and your leadership is the essential component. As liaison between our corporate offices and the stores in your district, you are the primary channel through which all policies, procedures and expectations are sent and maintained. The importance of conveying these messages in a fashion that motivates and unites store staff in a common purpose can’t be overstated. RESPONSIBILITIES Building Talent • Recruit and develop an engaged, sales-driven team • Provide your team with consistent coaching and growth opportunities • Create a team atmosphere and positive work environment throughout your district • Take necessary corrective actions in a timely fashion Building Service Standards • Set the pace...lead your retail teams by example • Prioritize daily objectives for each store • Achieve goals of district sales plan through excellent guest service Building Revenue & Operational Excellence • Work with management teams to maximize sales and profitability while maintaining operational controls • Proactively correct inefficiencies

    Qualifications

    REQUIREMENTS • 3-5 years related multi-unit district sales management experience • Established residency in Bay Area and ability to travel throughout district 50%-75% of each week • Ability to work flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends • Track record that shows organizational and administrative abilities • Strong written and oral communication skills • Passion for providing excellent guest service • Positive and proactive approach to management and working as a team • Exceptional time management and organizational skills • Ability to demonstrate company standards and reinforce them with entire team • Strong desire to recognize and reward achievements—big and small • Capacity to give regular and clear feedback to team • Ability to provide and receive constructive criticism • Capacity to multitask in order to meet simultaneous demands
