    Job Description

    We are currently searching for an experienced 3rd shift Manager to work full-time at our distribution center in Midway, Kentucky. The 3rd shift Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of 3rd shift at the distribution center. Responsibilities include staffing, training, safety, scheduling, receiving, put away, equipment maintenance, continuous improvements, and loss prevention. Ensuring that the operational goals of the company and help define the processes, procedures, and systems necessary to support and sustain long-term growth.

    A day in the office looks like this:

    • Maintaining receiving, put away and warehouse operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing operational and personnel policies / procedures
    • Maintain a high level of inventory accuracy and P.O. processing by coordinating with logistic team and Supply Chain Management.
    • Maintain high level of dock to shelf turn time and quality with employee involvement and teamwork
    • Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning work; follow up on work results
    • Comply with federal, state and local warehousing, material handling and shipping requirements
    • Direct the maintenance of physical conditions and appearance of the warehouse
    • Develop employee performance by appraising, coaching, and counseling
    • Maintaining and adjusting employee timecards in ADP.
    • Establishes safety practices and hold others accountable for adhering to them
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent, but college degree preferred
    • 3-5 years in warehouse/distribution environment.
    • 5-10 years in a leadership position.
    • Proven knowledge of warehouse organization, skill sets and duties: Administration, Inbound/Receiving, Outbound/Shipping, Production, Storage Management, Inventory, Profiling and Maintenance
    • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
    • Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced setting
    • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications especially Word, Outlook and Excel
    • Good cross function communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - ability to manage multiple projects/assignments simultaneously
    • Time management skills with the ability to prioritize and schedule tasks for the most efficient use of time
    • Knowledgeable on safety practices, OSHA requirements
    • Understanding of pick/pack/ship operations in high volume warehouse environment
    • Interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
