    Job Description

    In a time of unprecedented expansion, we are seeking a Project Manager to join our Learning Environments team. In this role, you will aid schools across the country as they create learning environments filled with furniture and materials to assist all types of learners. The position requires employing educational expertise to create 3-D renderings of environments to support curriculum, licensing and other vital standards. The ideal candidate has exceptional attention to detail, creative problem-solving skills and a goal-orientated approach to designing ideal spaces for learning and growing. Successful candidates will also have thorough knowledge of early learning and K–12 standards and curricula.     A day in the office looks like this:

    • Reviewing requests for educational spaces—including reading and interpreting blueprints, developing a plan considering student enrollment and choosing furniture based on aesthetic needs
    • Creating 3-D renderings of educational spaces that take best practices into account
    • Performing in-depth product selection from among indoor and outdoor classroom furniture (desks, tables, chairs, storage units, etc.), carpets, supplemental learning materials and other essential assets
    • Partnering with colleagues to help present Lakeshore’s vision to educators and administrators while thoughtfully addressing questions or concerns

    • 5+ years of classroom experience or exposure to curriculum development
    • Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
    • Sharp creative and spatial problem-solving skills
    • Familiarity with Lakeshore product lines for early learning/K–12 settings a plus
    • Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced setting
    • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
    • Customer-service orientation and collaborative approach to work
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat Reader; comfortable learning new technology
    • Top-notch written and verbal communication skills

    • Hourly: $36.50-$40.50 with an annual bonus of up to 10%
